Bradbury's science fiction novels were among the first treasures I discovered when the Middletown Public Library ladies declared I'd outgrown the basement room. I had the cards to prove I'd read every children's book in our Carneige institute a year earlier than the usual rules allowed. Bradbury's tales took me through some rough years and encouraged my writing. I owe much to the library ladies and Bradbury!
