Story Idea
Lucifer was (according to Christian myth) one of God's favourite angels, till he got jealous and proud and was thrown out of heaven. Now God who is a forgiving God...would he accept? And take Lucifer back? What would his punishment be, if at all? And would he ever re-enter Heaven?
And if Lucifer did return to Heaven...what would happen to the balance of Good and Evil? And Hell? Or would that be the end of the world?
Hmmm...this has the basis for a good short if not, a novel."

Hey Georganna! Thanks for picking up on that. Have always been interested in books with such topics (that's why i'm such of fan of the DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons, among others). I heard of a book (for the life of me, I don't remember the title) where the Devil and God meet once a year on earth to just talk. If anyone knows this...please let me know. :-)

What if - the key to creativity - I like that.
Spooky the other comment - after my reading Name of the Rose, Secret History and The Rule of Four, but avoiding The DvC, you recommended (I think) Katherine Neville's Magic Circle, and I have a copy.
I'm still reading Don Quixote (about 40% through), but I took a sneak preview at the prologue and the open pages of Magic Circle. I can see the plot content, but the language surprised me after the rarefied intellectual style of the others - almost a romantic novel - ".. he took her by the wrist. His handsome face searched hers. He drew her to him and gently kissed .." Going to be an intriguing read - for an intellectual snob like me :-)

Ha, I've only just noticed the tag line in your header - a double-edged compliment if ever I saw one.
Ian
Kisane: I've read that book, too, and can't recall the title (or the plot for that matter!) Angelic matters fascinate me more than Good and Evil clashing. Have you seen the Prophecy(?) series with Christopher Walken as Gabriel? Marvelous!
Ian: I didn't praise Neville's writing, for heaven's sake! Yes, there is a romance and much more. About my tag line -- well, yes. I'm considering removing the TV part after almost a year. It probably confuses more than illuminates.
No, sorry, I didn't mean THAT tag line - I like that ... "better that talking to the TV"
I meant the quote at the top :-)
Ian
Oh! Ha ha -- you mean the one that isn't there? (any more) Yes, it was good for a few larfs. Now it's time to move on to more earthy compliments. Oh, I'm told that box is called a "shout out" in current hip vernacular.
hi Georganna...Saw the first Prophecy and yes, I did enjoy it. Never saw the second one though. Maybe will check out the DVD this weekend. Cheers!
