Along the lines of the Book of Fictional Days the New York Times Book Review offers A
Literary Map of Manhattan It's an interactive (Flash) graphic which, as the subtitle says, shows: Here's where imaginary New Yorkers lived, worked, played, drank, walked and looked at ducks. By Randy Cohen and Nigel Holmes. The first time I visited no instructions appeared. Slide the brackets up and down on the small island image to the right. Clicking on an entry in the index covers the sites on the large island image with popups of photos and information. Still some bugs to work out to make this feature useful, but it's fun to play with.
