No Title
Notice anything strange about the image to the right? It's the cover of the paperback edition on Tom Wolfe's latest novel, I Am Charlotte Simmons. No, there's nothing wrong with the graphic. This is exactly how it appears on the Amazon website. The publisher printed the cover without the title. Some people think that the author's name alone is enough to induce people to buy the book. Would you reach for it if you saw it in a book store, on a shelf, in a rack? [authors]

How weird. I bought the paperback from Costco with this cover, read it in a week, and never even noticed it didn't have the title on the cover. Left it at my parents', though, so I can't check to see if mine had the title printed on it or not.
What I dislike is not being able to find the title because the author's name is so large and there are other titles listed too. (author of the New York Times Best Selling title: Gone With the Ashes) While it is good to be reminded of what else the author has done, I'd like to know the title of the book please.
I saw this at the bookstore and wondered about the lack of a title! I guessed the publisher believes Wolfe's name is more famous than any of his titles.
I haven't seen it yet so this is the first time I've come across it. Very, very curious. Maybe a clever marketing ploy.
