Speaking to Groups

Abhishek Sharma writes a blog to help job-seekers in India in their efforts. I believe in receiving help where you find it, so when I ran across 10 Tips For Successful Public Speaking I paid attention. All kinds of writers are asked to "give a little talk", to special interest groups, book clubs, for book signings, at writers' group meetings. We don't all have training in public speaking, and some of us are downright shy. Sure, you can take a course with Toastmasters or Dale Carnegie, but that takes time and money.
