Simoleans! A Writer's Edge must have been about the last blog to switch to the new Blogger (formerly known as "Beta"). A post on the Blogger Buzz board today notes that yesterday Google dismantled the old Blogger (known henceforth as "Classic"). It was only last week or so that I reluctantly switched (no choice or warning), and I've been struggling to get the Google toolbar's "Send To Blogger" function to work ever since. Now if I could just get Internet Explorer to retain my new login information for Blogger ... maybe I could actually take advantage of this new version to do something like oh, how radical would it be to enable searching by Blogger tags? And will it allow me to easily convert the template to three columns? Then I'd have room for those ever so hot items like recent comments or popular posts. Dear constant readers, what do you think I should change or add?

I change my Google buttons a lot, but a constant one is Gmail. Also, spell check, scholar, and Google calendar. Good luck!

I'd put the comment on the site but Google won't accept my old Blogger
password. Sigh.
Anyway, my comment was: Easy. Switch to WordPress.

Finally the "Send to" buttons work in both FF and IE, but in IE the automatic logins don't at Blogger and Writer's Digest, two sites I visit the most. I know this is a problem with the settings, probably security, but all my tweaking goes for naught. I appreciate the $90 refund after all these years, Microsoft, but please let go of my hand!
Here's a link to a great site for blogger hacks. I got a three column template for another one of my blogs here and it worked very well.
