They have details on 353 upcoming activities for writers. A better question, however, would be, "How can I make the most of a writer's conference?" Some tips involve preparation. Attend armed with:

* business cards
* copies of synopsis or outline
* recording device
* elevator speech
* open, positive attitude
* easy smile

Writers attend conferences for various reasons. Some are there to learn from workshops, seminars, lectures. Others come for the networking, access to agents and editors. There's no reason not to go for both, and don't discount the camaraderie with other beginners (you can learn from your peers, too.)
