Unfortunately, there are those who do not like P&E or its editor because we give out information that they would prefer remain hidden from writers. Usually, they slink away, but not this time. P&E is being sued and we are asking for donations to mount a legal defense in court. Preditors & Editors lists thousands of writing services with notices about scams and bad deals and recommendations for the good ones. You can research potential assistance for your writing at P&E at no charge. It is one of the best uses of the Internet that I've run across. The service is hosted by Another Realm magazine of speculative fiction.
