Mein Fuhrer, Blogger & FTP
This is about how I feel towards Blogger these days. Little by little they are nibbling away services. Rinky-dink little aggravations like slow uploads, no more deleting spam comments (or any for that matter), glitchy image uploads. I could go on and on. Oh, and the "edit post" button has disappeared. But I may have found a White Knight in Erik Aronesty. PAGING DR. ARONESTY, PLEASE REPORT BY EMAIL TO EDITOR @ THIS DOMAIN NAME. I may have a job for you!

Yes, Eric, the links work on that page; however, I don't want Google/Blogger to have its hot, sweaty hands on my blog any more than necessary. Your "fix" still requires storing the blog first on Blogspot, then sending posts to my site's host server.
Anyway, I'm trying to find a way to secure the RSS from search engines while allowing Kindle and other resellers access, along with private subscribers.
Great video. I love Google for some things. But you always need to control your own and your blog's destiny. Self-hosted is the way to go.
Yes, I do have an old Blogger blog. Only personal stuff on it. Of course, this comment will probably link to it and not to my business blog. If it does, enjoy the 4th of July parade pictures. It's a spoof parade and really funny.
