Texas author Dorraine Darden must be the most patient author around. Surely she is thinking that I am the slowest reviewer she's encountered. Thus, I am happy to announce my review of her debut novel,
Jack Rabbit Moon, appears at
BlogCritics, and a blurb will be in next month's
Midwest Book Review, usually available on the first of the month. This is an outstanding debut novel and one I highly recommend to everyone. Last month I interviewed Dorraine both
here,
here (post and comments) and on
BlogCritics. She is a real, serious writer, hard at work on her second novel.

Geo, I just returned from a four day trip to Austin and saw the review. Love it! You managed to squeeze the pages dry, capturing it beautifully with your review. Thank you ever so much. You are the shiz!
Cheers from the hat lady!
